These master classes will provide an introduction to the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize FabLab tools in biomedical research and engineering projects.

The first class, “FabLab Tools for Biomedical Innovation 1: 2D and 3D Design and Fabrication,” will be held on November 9, 2023. It will focus on 3D design and fabrication, covering the full tool chain from problem identification to CAD modeling (using Fusion 360) to physical object creation (using laser cutting and 3D printing).

The second class, “FabLab Tools for Biomedical Innovation 2: Arduino,” will cover electronics and sensors (to be announced).

These master classes are open to students (master’s, doctoral) and professionals (university and external). No particular skills are required.

Courses are taught in English and French, depending on the participants.
